Ordinance Committee Minutes

Attendance: Gregg Cogswell, Marie Soliani, Gerry Zordan, Ernestine Weaver.
The meeting was called to order at 5:45 pm by Councilman Gerry Zordan
Councilman Cogswell made a motion to approve the minutes of the last meeting, seconded by Councilwoman Soliani.
Councilwoman Soliani inquired whether or not any “professional” organization would be under to serve alcohol if this ordinance were to pass. Councilman Zordan answered that that would not be the case, as anyone using the park would need to have a lease with the City of Torrington which would include that topic.
Councilwoman Soliani made a motion to bring the proposal to serve alcohol at Fuessenich Park to the City Council for the purpose of scheduling a public hearing. The motion was seconded by Councilman Cogswell and passed with all in favor.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:53pm.
