Incentive Financing for Renovation of Business Buildings

The Litchfield Hills Facade Improvement Program (LHFIP) is designed to:

Strengthen the economic viability of the region's businesses

Improve and beautify the exterior appearances of storefronts and commercial businesses

Preserve the architectural heritage of the region's business buildings

A cooperative venture of the Litchfield Hills Council of Elected Officials, The Litchfield Hills Economic Development Partnership, Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, and the Towns of Barkhamsted, Colebrook, Goshen, Hartland, Harwinton, Litchfield, Morris,  New Hartford, Norfolk, Torrington and Winchester.

The Litchfield Hills Facade Improvement Program is funded through a grant from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development.
